Sector 102 // Mutie Kharnagar – Scout for Hire
Need someone to find a safe route through Sector 102? Track down supplies? Sneak into places where he probably shouldn't be?
Kharnagar might be your mutie!
Sector 102 // Gorgone Locke – The Shotgun Horror
Meet the Shotgun Horror.
The Cursed Earth has a funny way of changing people.
Gorgone Locke went into the wastes as a trader, selling reclaimed 20th-century junk. He came out of a Rad Pit looking like something else entirely… and carrying a shotgun.
Now he's hunting the gang that left him for dead.
Meet Gorgone Locke — a new character from Sector 102.
Judge Dredd - I am the LAW! - Rogue Judge - Battle Report
Judge Prince has gone completely futsie in Sector 102, and Judge Silar has been sent in to deal with the problem.
I've taken the old Mongoose Judge Duel scenario and given it a Sector 102 twist using the Warlord Games rules. Two Judges, a tiny battlefield, plenty of terrain and absolutely no arrests allowed.
It's quick, brutal and very Judge Dredd.
But who walks away?
Book Review // The Fall of Deadworld Omnibus by Matthew Smith
Time for some Dredd! I've stepped away from Warhammer and into the wonderfully messed-up world of the Dark Judges with The Fall of Deadworld.
Three stories charting the early stages of Deadworld's collapse, with Mortis, Phobia, Nausea and plenty of dark 2000 AD weirdness. Plus, naturally, I've found something to steal for Sector 102...
Comic Review // The Simping Detective
One of my favourite 2000 AD characters gets his own collection, so naturally I was bloody excited to dive into The Simping Detective.
Jack Point. Wally Squad. Noir detective stories. Angeltown. Corrupt Judges. Alien pets. And some fantastic Frazer Irving artwork.
Yep. I bloody loved it.
My latest Judge Dredd comic review is up on Adventures with Peps.
Book Review // Judges Volume Two edited by Michael Carroll
It felt like it was time to get back into Judge Dredd.
I've got a few Dredd books sitting on the shelf waiting for me, and Judges Volume Two had been waiting the longest. So, eventually, I had to stop ignoring it and pick it up!
And I'm bloody glad I did.
And, naturally, I'm already wondering what bits I can nick for Sector 102...
Book Review // Judges: When the Light Lay Still
I’ve really enjoyed the first two books in the 2033 Judges series, Avalanche and Lone Wolf, so I was looking forward to finishing Volume 1 with When the Light Lay Still.
So what went wrong?
Grubb's Disease: The Fungus That Kills You From the Inside Out
What if the most dangerous thing to walk into Sector 102 wasn't a mutant, a gang or a Judge...
But a man covered in mushrooms?
Today we're diving into one of the strangest and most horrifying diseases in the Judge Dredd universe:
Grubb's Disease.
Audio Review // Judge Dredd – Crime Chronicles: Double Zero
What happens when Judge Anderson loses the one thing that makes her unique?
In my latest audio review, I’m diving into Judge Dredd: Crime Chronicles – Double Zero from Big Finish.
Spies, rival Judge Cities, a mysterious child and one very serious problem for Anderson…
Her psychic powers are gone.
Another cracking little Dredd audio — and I'm rapidly becoming addicted to these Crime Chronicles!

Meet Judge Mal Folio: The Judge Who Balances the Books
Who keeps the Judges paid, equipped and on the streets?
Meet Judge Mal Folio, Sector 102's Accounts Judge—and probably the last person you want looking too closely at your finances.
While Street Judges chase perps, Folio follows the money. Tax evasion, corporate fraud, missing credits and suspicious transactions… if the numbers don't add up, he's coming to investigate.
But in a sector as messy as 102, what happens when the Accounts Judge starts looking too closely at Kelp Pharmacy?
The latest Adventures with Peps lore deep dive is now live.
The Ledger is watching.
Audio Review // Judge Dredd: Crime Chronicle – Blood Will Tell
What happens when a Judge is sent to the Cursed Earth… and comes back looking for revenge?
In my latest audio review, I’m diving into Judge Dredd: Crime Chronicle – Blood Will Tell — a story packed with ex-Judges, mutants, Justice Department secrets and a mystery that slowly starts to unravel.
And, naturally, I’ve already started stealing ideas for Sector 102…
Is Garris Hale a villain, a victim, or something in between? Let’s find out.
Comic Review // Judge Dredd: Titan
Warning: Dredd timeline anomaly detected! 🚨 I know I'm supposed to be reading Judge Dredd in order, but Titan landed in my collection and I couldn't resist. Ex-Judges, Wally Squad, Space Corps, aliens, Dirty Frank and a Dredd who suddenly feels a whole lot older... this one had everything I love about the Dreddverse. And, naturally, it's given me far too many ideas for Sector 102. Dive into my latest review and see why I couldn't put this one down!
Audio Review // Crime Chronicles: Stranger Than Truth by David Bishop
What happens when a fictional serial killer steps out of the pages of a book and starts murdering people in Mega-City One? Crime Chronicles: Stranger Than Truth brings back one of my favourite oddities, Slick Dickens, in a wonderfully twisted Judge Dredd mystery. I've also been thinking about how this whole idea could sneak its way into Sector 102... because apparently I can't read a Judge Dredd story anymore without stealing ideas for my own world!
Comic Review // Missionary Man: Going South — God, Guns & Mutants
What do you get when you mix a preacher, mutants, nuclear wasteland and a whole lot of bullets? Missionary Man! I've finally pulled Goin' South off the shelf, and it turns out it was exactly the sort of Cursed Earth madness I needed. Great artwork, brilliant post-apocalyptic Western vibes and, naturally, plenty of mutants. And yes... I'm already wondering how I can get some of these nightmares into Sector 102.
Comic Review // Devlin Waugh: Swimming in Blood
Vampires, demons, flower arranging and a Vatican Exorcist Assassin walk into Mega-City One... Yep, we're back with Devlin Waugh! One of my favourite 2000 AD characters, Swimming in Blood was exactly the warm-up I needed before diving back into Judge Dredd. It's violent, ridiculous, stylish and gloriously weird—and it's left me wanting much, much more Devlin. Come find out why this collection has reignited my 2000 AD itch!
Comic Review // Judge Dredd: The Cape and Cowl Crimes
What happens when superheroes decide to fight crime in Mega-City One? Judge Dredd isn't impressed! The Cape and Cowl Crimes throws Dredd into a world of wannabe heroes, Kleggs, bat-gliders, vigilantes and some wonderfully ridiculous comic-book chaos. I picked this one up from my local library and settled in for an evening of Dredd—and while it wasn't perfect, there are some seriously fun stories hiding inside. Come see which ones hit the mark... and which ones deserved a sentence!
