Zombies. Secret experiments. Abandoned pharmacies. Welcome back to Sector 102, where every rumor starts with a whisper—and usually ends with a body.
Character Focus: Gloppus – The Bravest Little Gronk in the Galaxy
Some characters only appear for a brief moment, yet somehow become unforgettable.
Gloppus is one of those characters.
Character Focus: The Gronk – The Heart of Strontium Dog
Every great hero needs a sidekick. Batman has Robin, Sherlock Holmes has Watson and Johnny Alpha has... a nervous, furry alien medic with weak hearts and a habit of saying "Aaargh!"
On paper, The Gronk shouldn't work at all. He's timid, constantly terrified, physically weak and prone to suffering heart attacks at the slightest bit of excitement. He doesn't carry a weapon, he isn't a fearless warrior and he certainly isn't the sort of character you'd expect to survive for long in the dangerous universe of Strontium Dog. Yet somehow, he became one of the most beloved characters in all of 2000 AD.
Character Focus: Johnny Alpha – The Heart and Soul of Strontium Dog
There are plenty of iconic characters in British comics, but very few have the longevity, depth and sheer presence of Johnny Alpha.
As the main character of Strontium Dog, first appearing in Starlord before becoming a staple of 2000 AD, Johnny Alpha is far more than just a bounty hunter with a cool weapon and glowing eyes. He's one of the most complex and tragic heroes ever created.

A quick stage by stage painting guide for ABC Warriors Hammerstein MK1, the kind of guide you would have found in the 90s to the 00s. I hope you enjoy.
Sector 102 // Exploring the Wild World of Pan-Africa
One of my favorite things about diving into old sci-fi settings is discovering places that feel completely different from the usual "one giant empire rules everything" future. Today, I am heading to one of the most unique regions in the Judge Dredd universe: Pan-Africa and wow, what a place it is.
Sector 102. // Kenny Who?
Kenny Who? is one of those obscure Judge Dredd characters who started out as a joke but ended up becoming a surprisingly memorable part of the wider 2000 AD universe. While he never achieved the fame of Judge Dredd himself, Kenny's appearances offered sharp satire, industry commentary, and some of the funniest stories ever published in the Judge Dredd setting.
Sector 102 // Chief Quartermaster Kara Swole
Chief Quartermaster Kara Swole has never let blindness slow her down.
A former Atlantic Defence Division armourer, Swole lost both eyes fighting mutant pirates beyond Mega-City One's sea walls. Declared unfit for field duty, she instead transferred to Sector House 102, where she now oversees the sector's vast armouries.
Feared by careless Judges and respected by everyone else, Swole can reportedly identify a faulty Lawgiver by sound alone.
And if the rumours are true...
She knows exactly who's walking into her armoury before they say a word.
Sector 102 // The Strange Life of Devlin Waugh
Mega-City One’s seen mutants, demons, psychic cults, undead Judges, and enough paranormal weirdness to make your average citizen start sleeping with the lights on. But even in a world like this? Nobody quite compares to Devlin Waugh.
Slaine: The Half-Dead Rise Again

Sector 102 // Deputy Sector Chief Oberon Glaw
Oberon Glaw is one of the most controversial senior Judges ever assigned to Sector House 102. Once regarded as a future Marshal of Luna One, Glaw’s meteoric rise through the ranks came to a sudden and humiliating halt following the infamous Black Relay Scandal of 2137. A case that nearly tore Sector 102 command apart from within.

Book Review // Judge Dredd: Dreddlocked
It’s been a while since we dove into a Judge Dredd novel, and this one has been sitting on the shelf far too long. It feels good to finally get it read and checked off the collection. It’s also helping to fuel my push into building up my Dan Abnett block while I continue to paint up my collection of Warlord Games Judge Dredd models. So this time around, we’re jumping into book three of the Virgin series, so let’s dive in.
Sector 102 // The Legend of Max Normal
You can tell a lot about a person in Mega-City One by what scares people around them. Gang bosses fear Judges. Perps fear iso-cubes. And somehow… criminals across the city feared a guy in a pinstripe suit named Max Normal. Yeah. That Max Normal.
Come on over a read more about this unique normal citizen.
Sector 102 // Novar: The Psychic Kid from the Cursed Earth
The kid had powerful psychic abilities, future sight, telekinesis, the whole deal. And despite growing up in the radioactive madness of the Cursed Earth, he had this deeply empathetic streak. A strong sense of right and wrong, he saw evil clearly. Maybe too clearly.
Today we learn about Novar.
