Judge Ben Gallagher was forged by violence, and shaped by it.

Born of Irish ancestry and raised in the Strathmeg conurbation, Gallagher’s path to the law was carved the moment he witnessed his parents murdered by local gangs. From that day on, his purpose was clear: bring order to a place consumed by crime. Joining the semi-autonomous Judge force, he set out to do exactly that.

And he proved more than capable.

Gallagher quickly distinguished himself in close combat, mastering the broadsword with deadly efficiency. Both offensive and defensive in equal measure, his skill earned him a fearsome reputation across the Cal-Hab highlands. Criminals learned fast—if Gallagher was coming, running wasn’t always enough.

But reputation cuts both ways.

His growing influence drew the attention of Brit-Cit authorities, who began to see him as a potential liability—especially if he rose to a position of greater power. Rather than take that risk, they reassigned him. First to Luna-1 for a tour of duty, and then onward to Mega-City One under the guise of a cultural exchange program.

Now stationed in Sector House 102, Gallagher cuts a unique figure on the streets—Celtic helmet, kilt, and all. He’s adapted quickly to the brutal rhythm of MC-1, earning the respect—and curiosity—of his fellow Judges.

But something isn’t right.

Despite the chaos of the city, Gallagher has been repeatedly singled out by attackers, even when easier targets are nearby. It hasn’t gone unnoticed. Whispers are spreading through the Justice Department that this isn’t coincidence…

…it’s a pattern.

And possibly, an assassination attempt in progress.
