Rookie Judge Chouch learned fast, because she had no choice.
Her early weeks on the streets of Sector 102 were anything but smooth. What should have been a routine noise disturbance on her first solo patrol quickly spiraled into something far more dangerous: a coordinated gang ambush. Caught off guard and outnumbered, Chouch was pushed to the brink, forced into a fight she wasn’t prepared for.
She survived, but just barely. Backup from Judge Silar turned the tide, allowing control of the situation to be reestablished. In the aftermath, Chouch faced reprimand for one critical mistake: waiting too long to call for support. In Mega-City One, hesitation can be just as dangerous as the threat itself.
It was a harsh lesson. But an important one.
Since then, Chouch has begun to adapt, carrying that experience with her on every patrol. The streets don’t forgive mistakes, but they do teach, for those who survive them. And Chouch is still standing. For now.
