Book Review // Halloween: The Official Movie Novelization by John Passarella
Halloween is here!
I'm revisiting Michael Myers, but this time in book form with Halloween: The Official Movie Novelization by John Passarella.
It's tense, creepy and surprisingly detailed, giving us a deeper look into the characters, and even a little more insight into Michael himself.
Audiobook Review // The Haar by David Sodergren
Ancient sea creature. Elderly woman. Bloody horrible body horror. And somehow… a love story.
I went looking for some contemporary folk horror and The Haar by David Sodergren kept appearing everywhere.
So I gave it a listen.
And bloody hell, I enjoyed it.
A slimy creature, spectacularly gruesome deaths, a surprisingly emotional relationship and a story that has me wondering how I can steal the whole bloody concept for Sector 102.
