What happens when a fictional serial killer steps out of the pages of a book and starts murdering people in Mega-City One? Crime Chronicles: Stranger Than Truth brings back one of my favourite oddities, Slick Dickens, in a wonderfully twisted Judge Dredd mystery. I've also been thinking about how this whole idea could sneak its way into Sector 102... because apparently I can't read a Judge Dredd story anymore without stealing ideas for my own world!
Audio Review // Eye of Terra: The Final Compliance of Sixty-Three Fourteen by Guy Haley
The Final Compliance of Sixty-Three Fourteen surprised me. Rather than focusing on Horus himself, Guy Haley gives us a planetary governor facing an impossible choice: betray the Emperor or watch his world be crushed by the Warmaster. A short, character-driven story that shows the very human cost of the Horus Heresy. A fitting end to my journey through Eye of Terra.
Audio Review // Horus Heresy: Chirurgeon by Nick Kyme
Excited to dive into another Fabius Bile story. As one of my favourite villains of 40k, it is always enjoyable to experience the 30k "Loyal" version. I'm keen on Reynold's version of him, so I genuinely hope Kyme does him Justice.
