Strontium Dogs: General Armz
General Armz was a crucial leader in the Mutant Liberation Army, fighting against the Kreelers in well-coordinated attacks. He became a father figure for young mutant Johnny Alpha after he had fled from his real father, Nelson Bunker Kreelman, the anti-mutant bigot who led the Keelers.
Armz died in the assault against the Kreelers at Westminster Abbey after he was shot in the back several times. He died in Johnny's arms, giving him blessings before passing. This is probably part of the reason why Johnny is so messed up psychologically.
