Judge B. Hogg—better known as “Boss” Hogg—operates far from the polished authority of Texas City. Out in the wild expanse of the Cursed Earth, he patrols Hazzard County, a lawless stretch beyond the Alabama Morass where the rules are… flexible.

Officially, Hogg is a Texas Ranger tasked with maintaining order in a region overrun by a notorious mutie family known as the Dukes. Unofficially? Control has been slipping through his fingers for a long time.

Distance changes things.

With Texas City far beyond the horizon, oversight is minimal—and Hogg has adapted accordingly. His methods have grown questionable, his habits indulgent. Cigars, bribes, and backroom deals have become part of the landscape, blurring the line between lawman and opportunist.

And yet, he still holds power out there.

Recently, word has spread of sugar runners moving through the territory, heading toward Mega-City One. It’s the kind of operation that thrives in places like Hazzard County—far from scrutiny, deep in Hogg’s jurisdiction.

Which means one thing.

If you pass through his land…

You pay.
