Falling Face-First into Alien: Black, White & Blood – Treasury Edition
The Alien: Black, White & Blood – Treasury Edition is a stripped-back nightmare that proves you don’t need colour to feel terror. Through three brutal, beautifully illustrated stories, this collection leans into shadow, silence, and splashes of blood (with an unsettling hint of green) to explore humanity, arrogance, and survival in a universe that does not care. Smart, savage, and dripping with atmosphere, this is Alien at its most raw, and I loved every horrifying page.
Comic Review: Star Wars – The High Republic Adventures: The Complete Phase 1
Time for something a little different. Star Wars the High Republic comic series. Not sure how deep I will go into this series. But its an interesting unexplored era for the franchise so let’s see where we go.
Comic Review // Star Wars Kanan - The Last Padawan
I enjoyed Rebels, so I hope this Kanan novel will help round out the lore and enjoyment.
Comic Review // Alien Revival by Marvel
We are heading to the farm to get some xenomorph goodness! What could go wrong when a colony world refuses to stay under Weyland Yutani's control?
Comic Review // Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures, Vol. 2 by Daniel José Older
Volume 2 of the Star Wars High Republic arc. A story that is surprisingly growing on me.
Comic Review // Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures, Vol. 1
I found Volume 1 in a new-to-me series of Star Wars. The High Republic shows an all-new era of the franchise, one where Jedi are rather common, and the main threat is a pirate group known as the Nihil. I am hoping this will be the start of something truly fun.
