Beer Review 177 // Yummy! by Beyond the Pale

It's definitely lucky to be working for a brewery that is producing some great beer. I'm continuing with supporting my Local brewery (the one I work at lol). This week is the stunning and delicious Yummy! NEPA which they just launched as a permanent choice at the LCBO.

Here are the Details.

Beer Name: Yummy!
Style: NEPA (North East Pale Ale)
Brewery: Beyond the Pale Brewing Company
Location: Ottawa, Ontario. Canada

Description:
Now you'll be able to take it to go, fresher than ever and share the love of this hazy North East Pale Ale with everyone you know! Brewed with Southern Cross and Citra then dry-hopped with Mosaic, making this a unique and crushable juice bomb that delivers big flavour without being sweet. Very appropriately named, Yummy!

Review

On the pour, you are treated to a bold, bright yellow pour. Hazy is one way to describe this beer another would be opaque. There is zero chance of seeing through this! The aroma is juicy and tropical, mango, citrus fruit come crashing through. This combo continues as you sip. The mouthfeel is smooth and slightly creamy, with the tropical fruit making this into a mouthwatering juice. The bitterness is gentle and what you expect from this type of brew, making your mouth want more, it makes you grab the glass for another sip, it makes you go yummy! It really delivers on the name, and it deserves to be in your glass this weekend.

If you are in the Ottawa area, go treat yourself to some cans before it sells out. Otherwise, cheers to you all and see you next week.
