Beer Review 171 // Paradiso IPA by Big Drop Brewing Co.

Something similar but slightly different. This week, I tried a 0.4% IPA from a new brewery called Big Drop. They currently have two brews on offer at my local LCBO. The first is an IPA that we will discuss today, and the second is a Stout that I hope to drink tonight. Let's get into the info.

Brewery: Big Drop

Location: Ipswich, England

Name: Paradiso Citra IPA

Style: Low/No Alcohol Beer - Pale

Fluff: This IPA radiates citrus fruit from the moment you pour it to the second you finish that last sip with a satisfied sigh. The bright, sharp twist of bitterness on end makes you want to dive back in for one more.

Review

A lovely golden yellow pour greets me with a lively white head that quickly fizzles away to soapy style lingering bubbly fluff. Aromas are what you expect from a Citra hopped brew, big citrus and some bready malts. On taste, I find it a little lacking in the body (not too surprised by this), but it has a refreshing flavour and an easy-drinking bitterness. I wouldn't mind another can to enjoy, but my main problem is the price tag. That alone will scare me off from purchasing again.

This has intrigued me about the stout version, so fingers crossed.
