Beer Review 156 // On the Lam by Bicycle Craft Brewery

I'm on a roll with Bicycle Craft beers at the moment, so with this in mind, I hit up their On the Lam IPA.

This is a New England Style IPA that is described in their own terms as an "Aggressively hopped" beer, using Mosaic and Citra hops. We are told to expect pineapple, mango, tropical fruits and of course citrus. So let's crack open this 6.6% brew.

The picture says it all, it pours an opaque yellow and is topped by a thick creamy white head. The aroma is all tropical and citrus and makes the mouth water. On the first sip, I am greeted by a strong pineapple that mellows as you drink, opening it up to the taste of lingering mangos and citrus after taste. It absolutely coats the tongue and leaves you wanting another sip. A truly delicious brew and highly recommend you try it if you have the chance.
