Been Enjoying a lot of Bicycle Craft Beers of late. It will come as no surprise that the reason for this is the fact that they are now at my local farmers market in Beechwood near Ottawa. This week's brew is their Recumbent Raspberry wheat.
On the pour, this beer is bright red, and the head is lively and pink in tint. Sadly the head fades away quickly. After sticking my nose and getting a good sniff I get plenty of raspberry notes, and a slight digestive biscuit aroma, it smells great. The beer itself is easy drinking and light, with a tart finish from the berries making this stupidly easy to drink at 4.6%. Truly a tasty beer that actually tastes of real raspberries.
Great work Bicycle Craft!
