Beer Review 143 // Grand Re-Re-Re-Opening by Beyond the Pale Brewing Company

Excited to be sharing this beer with you all today. Beyond the Pale Brewing Company (who I work for), decided to brew a special beer for the reopening of the brewery. This should have been released at the end of the third lockdown, hence the Re-re-re part. Unfortunately, the Ontario Lockdown got extended by a week. But the beer is ready so it got released!

The first thing you will notice about the beer is the label. Showcasing the brewery and retail shop (with a staff member), displaying Bob's Burger style banner as well as a tongue-in-cheek Business unusual. The photograph was taken at work and is the unedited one I used on the Instagram post.

The pour revealed a lively, bright, straw-colored beer. Topped with a thick white head, and it looked gorgeous in the glass. Aromas coming off included citrus notes along with some pine. It definitely has some West Coast vibes to it whilst having an East Coast brightness about it. The taste was very smooth and surprisingly light, a hint of oranges or tangerines front and center awakens the tastebuds, whilst the bitterness coated the tongue, before becoming slightly sweet towards the end.

Not going to lie I really enjoyed this and ended up getting a six-pack for the long weekend. Highly recommend you get some if you live in Ontario. I would love to know what everyone else has been drinking or enjoying of late so please do drop me a comment below as I would love to hear about them.

Thanks for checking in and I hope you enjoyed my beer review?
