Beer Review 95 // Bomb! - Prairie Artisan Ales

This beer is a secret shame. It has sat for over three years without being drunk, but now is it's time to shine. This lonely bottle has watched from the shadows as other beers have come and gone, wondering if it would ever be drunk. But it's the time! The dust is cleared the cap popped and the glass ready to be sipped.

Details

Name: Bomb!

Style: Imperial Stout

Brewery: Prairie Artisan Ale

Country: Oklahoma, United States

ABV: 13%

Commercial Fluff: Imperial stout aged on coffee, cacao nibs, vanilla beans, and ancho chilli peppers.

Own Opinion

The Label: A little dated but great and colourful.

The Pour: Dark, dark black with a chocolate brown head. Looking like a tasty double chocolate dessert.

The Aroma: Considering the age, this smells great! The nose is roasted malts, coffee and a subdued hint of the chilli. Reminding me of my favourite beer Dark and Picante.

The Taste: Taste is pretty on point with the aroma, lots of coffee but this time backed up with cocoa and vanilla. This is drinking like a cold brew and truly think this is an impressive brew.

Would I buy it again: Sign me up, considering the age of this brew it is tasting amazing. I seriously impressed and want more. If only the borders weren't shut.

As always let me know if you have drunk this beer. If you have the time please do hit follow in the corner it means a lot. Cheers
