Beer Review 77 // Dream Pop by Fairweather Brewing

Today's beer possibly has one of the prettiest labels, but will the beer inside live up to the labels. Time to crack open the beer and find out.

Details

Name: Dream Pop

Style: Kettle Sour

Brewery: Fairweather

Country: Canada

ABV: 6.2%

Artwork: Unknown

Commercial Fluff: Dry hopped American kettle sour. Notes of lemon, lime, fuzzy peach and cranberry.

Own Opinion

Label: Bright, light and colourful. Big fan of the label, would make a great wallpaper.

Pour: Beautiful golden pour topped with a white foam cap. Looks great!

Aroma: Lemony citrus and little grain note coming through.

Taste: Uh sour. Sharpness from the lemon and I do get the fuzzy peach. Don't really get the lime though that maybe hiding alongside the lemon citrus notes. The cranberry though is none existent to me. It's drinkable but not something I want to drink quickly.

Would I buy it again: Probably not. Nice notes of lemon and I got the fuzzy peach, which was nice. Didn't really notice the cranberry and it finishes quite clean and crisp. It was enjoyable just not a standout.
